Celui-ci est obtenu à partir du traitement d'huiles végétales, d'huiles résiduelles ou de déchets et a pour principale spécificité sportive de brûler plus "proprement" que le carburant diesel dit "classique". Cette caractéristique permet ainsi de prolonger la durée de vie du moteur et d'en limiter l'entretien tout en garantissant une grande performance pour ces monstres mécaniques de plus de 5 tonnes pour 1.200 chevaux!
Le Championnat de France Camions : organisé par le magazine France Routes, ce championnat est tout particulièrement attrayant car il regroupe plusieurs types d'épreuves mécaniques et de gymkhana.
