La 48ème édition des 24 Heures Motos s'est tenue du 17 au 20 avril 2025 sur le légendaire circuit Bugatti du Mans. Cette course d'endurance de renommée mondiale a marqué l'ouverture du Championnat du Monde FIM EWC 2025. Les festivités ont débuté en centre-ville avec une parade des motos engagées, suivie d'une séance de dédicaces et de la photo officielle des pilotes. Ces événements ont offert aux fans une occasion unique de rencontrer les équipes et de ressentir l'ambiance électrique précédant la course. ​
Sur la piste, 53 équipes étaient attendues pour s'affronter dans une lutte acharnée. Parmi les favoris, il y avait le Yoshimura SERT Motul sur Suzuki GSX-R 1000, le YART Yamaha et le BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team. Les essais pré-Mans avaient déjà donné un avant-goût des batailles à venir, avec BMW privant Yamaha du meilleur temps dans les derniers instants.
Durant ces quelques jours, les spectateurs ont également pu profiter de nombreuses animations, notamment des concerts, une fête foraine et une zone dédiée aux enfants, rendant l'événement convivial pour toute la famille. Les billets étaient d'ailleurs disponibles en ligne avec diverses options, y compris des forfaits pour les quatre jours, des accès paddock et des offres pour les étudiants.
Par ailleurs, une nouvelle catégorie "Production" a fait son entrée cette année, offrant une dimension supplémentaire à la compétition.

The 48th edition of the 24 Heures Motos set the tone for the 2025 FIM Endurance World Championship, as fans flocked to the legendary Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans from April 17 to 20. The event got underway in the heart of the city with a vibrant motorcycle parade, followed by an autograph session and the traditional riders’ photo — a festive prelude that brought fans and teams together in true Le Mans spirit.
Once the action hit the track, 53 teams battled it out in an intense and unpredictable race. Among the front-runners, Yoshimura SERT Motul (Suzuki GSX-R 1000), YART Yamaha, and BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team lived up to expectations. The tone had already been set during pre-race testing, where BMW snatched the best time from Yamaha in the closing moments — a preview of the showdown to come. Off the track, the event offered plenty for fans of all ages, with concerts, a funfair, and a kids’ zone making for a festive and family-friendly atmosphere. This year also saw the debut of the new “Production” category, adding a fresh layer of competition and excitement to the race. Ticket options ranged from four-day passes to paddock access and special student offers, making the 2025 edition one of the most accessible and inclusive yet.

Pour cette 39ème édition, trois championnats seront à l'affiche.
Le Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship : reconnu comme étant le championnat le plus prestigieux de la course de camions. Sa particularité vient du fait qu'il bénéficie, depuis 2021, d'un carburant 100% renouvelable développé par TotalEnergies : le HVO100 (plus d'information ici). Celui-ci est obtenu à partir du traitement d'huiles végétales, d'huiles résiduelles ou de déchets et a pour principale spécificité sportive de bruler plus "proprement" que le carburant diesel dit "classic". Cette caractéristique permet ainsi de prolonger la durée de vie du moteur et en limiter l'entretien tout en garantissant une grande performance pour ces monstres mécaniques de plus de 5 tonnes pour 1.200 chevaux!
Le Championnat de France Camions : organisé par le magazine France Routes, ce championnat est tout particulièrement attrayant car il regroupe plusieurs type d'épreuves mécaniques et de gymkhana.
Le British Truck Racing Championship : la caractéristique principale de ce championnat réside dans le fait qu'il est composé de 2 divisions. La première regroupant des machines tout particulièrement développées pour la course avec des systèmes de suspensions et de freinage spécifiques alors que la seconde regroupe des "dérivés" de machines routières.

The 2024 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will showcase the thrilling spectacle of truck racing, with three prestigious championships taking center stage.

First, the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship, regarded as the most prestigious truck racing series in the world. A standout feature of this championship is its use of 100% renewable fuel, the HVO100, developed by TotalEnergies since 2021. Made from the processing of vegetable oils, waste oils, or residues, this fuel burns cleaner than traditional diesel, reducing engine wear and offering extended life for these mechanical beasts, which weigh over 5 tons and boast a staggering 1,200 horsepower. This innovation helps improve performance while ensuring sustainability in motorsport.
Next, the French Truck Championship, organized by the France Routes magazine, brings an exciting mix of mechanical challenges and gymkhana-style events. The championship is renowned for its variety, combining different types of driving tests and skill-based obstacles, offering a thrilling display of both power and precision behind the wheel.
Lastly, the British Truck Racing Championship, known for its two-divisional format. The first division features highly specialized machines built exclusively for racing, equipped with custom suspension and braking systems for peak performance. The second division, however, is comprised of "derivatives" of road-going trucks, offering a more accessible entry point for racing enthusiasts and creating an exciting mix of vehicle types and racing strategies.
Together, these three championships will bring an electrifying mix of speed, strategy, and engineering to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, continuing the tradition of innovation and competition that defines this legendary motorsport event.

Les 24 heures du Mans font partie intégrante du Championnat du Monde d'Endurance MOTO (EWC pour Endurance World Championship) qui est lui-même composé de 4 courses : les 24 heures du Mans / les 24 heures de Liège / les 8 heures de Suzuka / le Bol d'Or.
En 2023, c'est l'équipage FCC TSR Honda France composé de l'australien Hook et des deux français Di Meglio & Techer qui a remporté l'épreuve sur une impressionnante Honda CBR1000RR-R SP.
Pour cette année, l'équipage français Yoshimura SERT Motul tentera de renouer avec la victoire : après avoir effectivement monté sur la plus haute marche du podium en 2021 et 2022 (entre autres) le team de Damien Saulnier n'a pu accrocher en 2023 que la 7ème place à 22 tours du vainqueur.
48 équipages ont ainsi pris le départ le samedi 20 Avril, sous un très beau soleil, pour ce double tour d'horloge et, comme nous nous en doutions, ce sont principalement 3 Formula EWC qui se sont disputées la première place : la Yamaha #1 du YART Yamaha, la Suzuki #12 du Yoshimura SERT Motul et enfin la BMW #37 du BMW Motorrad WET. 
La nuit fut fraîche et intense pour les Machines et les Hommes... Et c'est au lever du soleil que le classement final fut, pour ainsi dire, figé : la Suzuki #12 du Yoshimura SERT Motul en tête, suivi à un tour de la BMW #37 et de la Yamaha #1 à 5 tours.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans is a key event in the Endurance World Championship (EWC), which consists of four major races: the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 24 Hours of Liège, the 8 Hours of Suzuka, and the Bol d'Or. In 2023, the team FCC TSR Honda France, made up of Australian rider Hook and French riders Di Meglio & Techer, clinched victory on the powerful Honda CBR1000RR-R SP. This year, the French team Yoshimura SERT Motul will be aiming to return to the top of the podium. Having previously won in 2021 and 2022, Damien Saulnier's squad struggled in 2023, finishing 7th, 22 laps behind the winners.
In 2024, 48 teams took the start on Saturday, April 20, under a beautiful sunny sky for this intense double-clock endurance challenge. As expected, the race quickly became a battle between three Formula EWC teams for the lead: the #1 Yamaha YART Yamaha, the #12 Suzuki Yoshimura SERT Motul, and the #37 BMW BMW Motorrad WET.
The night brought its own set of challenges, with riders and machines facing cold and demanding conditions. As dawn broke, the final standings were nearly set, with the #12 Suzuki Yoshimura SERT Motul leading, one lap ahead of the #37 BMW and five laps ahead of the #1 Yamaha.
